Feels big and bulky and floppy

The build quality of this case and keyboard overall, is top notch. The stitching is clean, the black pseudo-leather has a nice marbled texture, and the keyboard tray is lined with soft felt. The zipper is sturdy; its long rubber tab makes it very easy to draw the zipper open and shut.
I underestimated how huge and awkward the case would be when it is open on my desk, or on my lap. I realize that I don't really want my notes or important papers or my ID flopping around lying face-up like that for all the world to see whenever I zip open my Ipad case to type something up.
THE KEYBOARD:
The keyboard itself is delightfully small and lightweight, and has an all-plastic construction - black with a fine even matte texture - all of which which means that it's very durable. There is no glossy plastic anywhere - which is a huge plus that means there's nothing to collect fingerprints or to scratch up. The keyboard seems to automatically connect with the Ipad each time it is turned on, without a fuss. It is held in place only with magnets. That's a nice professional touch.
I like the fact that the keyboard is designed so that it can do double or triple duty with a Microsoft or Android (Honey Comb or later) machine. You have all the Microsoft function keys available, and also a forward-delete button (these, naturally, will not work in the same fashion on an Ipad).
The key response, overall, seems quite solid. Many people will be fond of the 2mm of travel and the resistance the keys give to the touch. I, however, feel that there is too much travel, and that the keys need to be pressed with more force than I'm comfortable with (this is compared to standard-issue Apple keyboards). I have found that if a keyboard is too stiff or spongy, it can fatigue my hands and even make them cramp up when typing at high speeds for long periods of time. I also worry about the fact that the keys tend to wobble back and forth a little bit after they're fully depressed; this means that there is some risk that the key will depress without the electrical contact being made (especially when it comes to larger buttons like the backspace and the enter key). I notice quick successive presses of the arrow keys will not consistently register.
Finally, my Apple Ipad 3 itself (with IOS 6.1), has some troubling limitations in that it doesn't allow a forward delete - and the slow key-repeat speed cannot be adjusted. As someone else mentioned - lack of Bluetooth mouse support is also a huge drawback.
OTHER STUFF:
I have a big concern about the velcro (hook and loop) strip running along the base of the Ipad which is there to hold the angle. It seems like the sort of thing that will, over time, gum up and become useless. Even brand new, it feels like a flimsy way to hold the thing in place.
The Ipad is held in its pouch with a flap of pseudo-leather, backed on one side with felt. It is not clipped in, in any way - but because the case zips shut when it's being carried around, this won't cause a hazard.
The stylus holder is a nice amenity.
The Ipad case has cut-outs for all the various ports and buttons on the device.
There is no magnet to turn your Ipad off, automatically.
There is no way to stand the Ipad up, vertically.
Offers very effective protection from dropping and other similar accidents.

Amazing for what it is.

I have been using the KeyFolio Executive for roughly a week now. The case looks great and feels great. It is a bit heavy, but that much is to be expected. The keyboard functions *fantastically*. It pairs quickly and is almost perfect for touch typing. (The right shift key is slightly smaller than typical, but not problematically so.)
I have gone through several cases for my iPad 3 and I've finally found the one that I will stick with.

It works well the blue connection instructions were minimal, but other than that the unit works great. I would recommend this, however, it is not easy to use on your lap so there are times the I-Pad has to be taken out of the case.
