Absolutely Thrilled!

I researched keyboards for the ipad mini for a while before purchasing. I wanted a keyboard that was compact, protective, lightweight, and could easily be removed. This keyboard fit my criteria. I looks very professional, slips easily into a purse or bag, and I don' have to keep it attached when I just want to read. The lighted keyboard is handy for lowlight situations, such as on a plane or train. I have been using it for less than a week and am gaining speed daily. I have been able to take notes at a conference, fill out downloaded forms from the internet, and update a blog with ease. It is small, and learning where some of the punctuation keys are located does slow me down a little - but that is improving with practice. I like the look and feel of the keyboard. It is well made. The battery is amazing. The price is a bit higher than other keyboards out there, but well worth it. Couldn't be more pleased.

Very Good, but needs improvements in keyboard.

Chose the Luvvitt ultrathin keyboard because of the backlight features. Key/board is typical QWERTY and has a good feel when typing. Of course it is smaller than a regular keyboard, but once you adapt to the size, it works with good tactile feedback and responsivity. Oneproblem is that the key designed to allowyou to movefrom screen to screen is not as user friendly as similar BT keyboards. With the Luvvitt you must hold the function key while you click on the display button to cause the display return to the home screen, or another page on your iPad. THis seems awkward since other keyboards allow you to click on the display button without having to engage the function key. Another issue is that you cannot use a back cover over the iPad Mini to protect it. Thus, you only have protection for the iPad Screen but not the back.

Good keyboard cover for ipad mini

I hate long reviews for products. Ain't nobody got time for that. Lol so in order for me to be concise and to the point I am going to list the pros and cons of this product below.
Pros
*Backlit light-It's pretty and useful
*Keyboard feels awesome- love tying on this thing one small issue i will talk about it in my cons section
*long battery life-good thing
*Looks awesome-aesthetic isn't everything but makes your ipad mini into small size mac or something
*Comes with instructions
*Comes with sticker that you could place on the bottom of the keyboard so won't scratch the bottom of the keyboard
*Comes with microfiber cleaning cloth
*Quick shipping
*Good packaging
Cons
*sleep/awake function doesn't work- I thought about returning the product but then that means I would be without keyboard for my ipad mini until they get me another one. Hmm... I also don't got time for that.
*spacebar- you need to be in hit in the middle of the spacebar or else keyboard wouldn't recognize that you hit spacebar. Easy fix... you could just use to it like as I have.
I would say the keyboard cover is worth the money. I did not return it because I did not really care about auto awake/ sleep function and that's the only flaw that I could think of.
Buy it and you won't regret it!
