The bazel which holds the iPad in the cover encloses it completely on all 3 exterior side, leaving openings for all of the functional portals. This not only secures the iPad, but gives a clean handsome appearance. The leather material and the stiching is durable and attractive. While their is no designated holder for a stylus, my Pogo tucks into cavity between the underside of e iPad and cover binding securly and with no bulge whatsoever when the cover is closed. the magnet closures work well. the cover does not create an inclined surface for typing, but I knew that and was not looking for that feature. The cover is thinner than some that I have seen, but doubles the thickness of the IPad, making it still less than an inch thick. the iPad is easily removed from the cover if you like to use it that way. It lays flat when open so that I can take meeting notes with Notetaker HD easily or type when I wish. The cover folds back flat for easy handling while reading. This was a good value purchase for me.
