The winner of my search

My experience with the FabricSkin Keyboard Folio is much different than the other rater who rated this so low. Maybe they bought an imitation or knockoff because mine is anything BUT flimsy. In reading the description online, I knew the Mystic Blue wouldn't be fabric, it's a nice smooth, soft, almost rubber texture that I like. I spent about an hour at Best Buy handling this version and all the others in the store. I also went around to other stores searching for the right keyboard/cover combo. This won the battle and I love it. The orange/red part encases the entire ipad, not just the corners. Yes, it is a little heavy but I like that because it feels substantial, not cheap. It feels like my iPad is protected.

My husband loves it!

We bought this yesterday and my husband loves it. Yes, the blue is very dark, but he likes it that way. The stand holds the pad at a perfect angle for lap viewing, the keyboard and magnet closure work very well and we think the whole thing feels very sturdy and protective. The only reason I don't have one too is that it is too thick to fit in my purse.

Mystic Blue version is cheap plastic - flimsy

This is not a criticism of the company eWorld that distributes these, but a direct review of the item - in specific the Mystic Blue version - which has a bright red casing. I was promptly refunded upon return.
First, this is flimsy cheap plastic. It is advertised as "fabricskin" but it is cheap nylon/plastic all around. The bright red iPad portion is plastic that your iPad clips into. IT feels cheap and plastic. It feels like cheap nylon. It is also VERY red. It isn't just the rim, its the entire portion that contains the ipad.
The "fabric" is just cheap plastic -- perhaps the other colors/styles might have a different material, but this Mystic Blue one does not. Its just plastic/nylon both inside and out. The photos show a brighter blue than it looks in real life, which is almost blackish.
The keyboard feels unresponsive and too flat to type on and it also feels warped -- there is little key response and spacing is odd. I supposed you could get used to this, but I'm not going to bother. It was returned the same day it arrived. Its also bigger and bulkier than it looks in the ads.
When you watch the company's video, this looks great, but the execution is horrible. Different colors and materials, might of course make a huge difference so I can't speak for the entire line, only the Mystic Blue version.
