5WAY more functional than the standard iPad case!
By Mark Druziak
This is an excellent iPad case. I always found that I needed to prop up the standard iPad case with a book or something to minimize glare or put the iPad at an angle suitable for typing with the wireless keyboard. This case IS the solution to those problems.

The V4 is very well made. It appears to be real leather (or a good simulation). The inside is soft felt so the screen doesn't get scratched. The case attaches to the iPad with two strong pre-bent tabs that hold the pad using frictioin. It sounds hokey but it works well. The top cover attaches the same way and is very secure.

There are 6 different angled positions you can use the case. Each of these is very secure and usable. It seems you can alsways find a good angle to mininize reflections or watch a video on the iPad while sitting or laying in bed.

This case is much more usable than the standard iPad case and it doesn't get as dirty either!

1fulfilled by amazon, knockoff products
By X. Ma
sold by "ONLY TECH BARGAINS LLC", fulfilled by amazon. i bought two, both knockoffs.

as other reviewers said, no yoobao box, only cheap plastic wraps. no yoobao logo on the leather, no white stitching, two standing notches instead of three.

one major issue is that one of the two covers i bought doesn't even fit. i bought two, one for myself and one for a friend of mine as a gift. i'm very disappointed.

usually when i see it's fulfilled by amazon, i'd trust. but this time amazon failed me.

don't buy from this seller, "ONLY TECH BARGAINS LLC". BUYER BE AWARE!

5Only get this newer Magic version with clips
By snooker
I didn't buy this one from Amazon but it appears to be the same Yoobao Magic iPad case I got on eBay. From what I've read the Magic version is a newer version from Yoobao, don't get the older one... This is a much better design with the 4 clips it slides into and the 2 clips you pop off when folding the cover. I really like it's quality and the clips hold the iPad securely - I can unclip the 2 and fold it for use on the sofa or chair and then hold it by the cover and shake it and it doesn't even begin to fall out.

Pros: for use in horizontal/landscape position on your lap while sitting - this is truly what it excels at. The cool clips allow the entire surface to be used and it looks very clean that way, plus if you use a screen protector it does not get in the way of the clips like the older version that has leather you have to slide it into.

Cons: Tor portrait mode the cover does not fold around to the back completely so it does not lay completely flat, but you can still use it in portait mode. When folding the cover shut the little side clip is not very secure and for some people this may be a concern.

I love it for our use - no kids, not too worried about dropping it, used mainly in the house in landscape position while sitting in a chair or lounger. GREAT for that.
