Zoogue Prodigy case is "Most Excellent" for this style of case
By GRak
I realize that many folks do not like this style of case, i.e., case material covers the bezel similar to how a picture frame might frame a photo.
I was in that "camp", I preferred the thin shell back case and Smart Cover. However, I had concerns about drop protection. It seemed to me that it is minimal with shell cases (especially case hit the ground corner first), not to mention that there would be no protection for the front of my iPad if it were dropped with the Smart Cover opened and it landed flat on the front. (I occasionally let my grandkids use it, so extra concerned about dropping).
I decided to look for something with better protection. I looked at Otterbox and Griffin Survivor type case, but they seemed to be way to large and had an "industrial/military" appearance.
The Zoogue case seemed like a good compromise, the case covers the bezel and corners well enough to provide protection, yet not quite so large as the big plastic military style cases. It is definitely more professional looking.
The magnetic stand feature is superb as compared to any other system such as Velcro, and mechanical gadgetry found on other "stand" type cases. Note however, the case does not provide any vertical stand capability if that is important to you.
I would also assume that the magnets would interfere with compass apps, but the case is *easily* removed if use the compass app "once in a blue moon" as I do.
The case is a bit heavy compared to shell cases, but much lighter than military cases. For me, this case provides a good compromise for protection, appearance and weight, and the stand system is excellent.

Unbox Therapy Review/Demo Video

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RUS71AKK1Y9JY In this video Unbox Therapy Reviews the ZooGue Case Prodigy.
The Case Prodigy is an insanely convenient design that makes using the iPad a breeze. With its patent pending magnetic kickstand, it is adjustable to 6 secure angles, from a low typing angle to a high movie angle and anything in between.
There are thousands of cases out there, and they all have the same problem, only a few angles and those angles are not stable at all. The Case Prodigy on the other hand delivers double the angles as a common case and unmatched stability.

The best gets better!
By Scott R. Marshall
I owned an original iPad and finally decided to upgrade to the latest version (128 Gb). I tried several different cases for my Original iPad until I found ZooGue. That case helped my original iPad last through 2 1/2 years of daily use (including heavy use by my now 4 year old). It protected that iPad well enough that I was able to sell it for $150 in 2013.
When the new iPad was ordered I new immediately what case I was going to buy. I found the new ZooGue cases and purchased the Case Prodigy. The elimination of the Velcro strap is welcome and the easy adjustability of viewing angle is very useful.
I really can't think of anything negative to say about the case. Some people might be put off by the weight as it does make the iPad noticeably heavier. But, the first time my daughter dropped the new iPad I knew I had made the right decision. The case is a little larger than the iPad on all sides which gives you very good protection against bumps and drops.
The black leather makes the iPad less noticeable when carrying it in public too.
