Best case I've tried, but not perfect

This is a good iPad2 case with a lot of clever features. Mine was charged in the box and operated for hours without charging. After a couple of days, I charged it fully and have been using it since. I do not turn it fully off, so this means the power down routine works well. Bluetooth pairing worked without referring to the documentation.
The keyboard is fully functional. I am typing this review on the keyboard with my iPad 2. Very few errors. On most sites and apps, the main keys work (alpha/numeric/arrows/tab/volume/function). The top row of keys is hit and miss, depending on the developer, but this is not the fault of the case manufacturer.
The case fully protects the iPad, and is pretty stylish to boot. It adds a lot of thickness, but you are getting a keyboard, so how can you complain? the iPad2 snaps into a soft plastic frame which is perfectly fitted and trivially easy to snap in-out. The screen pivot function works well, I just used it mid-review.
I have only two gripes:
1. No magnets. That would have been positively delightful, and I probably would have given five stars for it. However, there is a key with a lock icon that powers the iPad down and up, which works nicely.
2. Screen angle is steep when using keyboard. This is minor. The only way to solve it would be to slide the keyboard forward an inch when inn use, but that wouldn't be easy. To be fair, the screen angle is better when the screen is vertical (portrait) then when it is horizontal (landscape).
This is my new default case when I want something more than the Apple folding front cover. Four stars for a solid contender.

Excellent Protection but Lacks a Smart Cover

The angle of the Ipad while resting on the keyboard is a bit steep, but still workable. Some will be put off by the lack of a Smart Cover feature, but to me that is an extremely minor inconvenience. I think the keyboard, coupled with the protection afforded by the rugged case, make this case a winner if you need the functionality of an external keyboard for extensive typing. The rotation ability from landscape to portrait is also nice. Click the video for a look at the case and the resting angle.

Works pretty well, but it has problems

For starters, this case really does fit only an iPad 2. The iPad 2 snaps precisely into a molded plastic shell. The iPad 1 is just slightly too big to fit, and so it doesn't fit at all.
Of course, the hard plastic case means there's no magnets to put it to sleep, as others here have commented. In other words, this is really an iPad 1 case that's been resized for an iPad 2.
Other than that, the case works as intended. The keyboard pairs just fine with the iPad, and the swivel mechanism works. There's no way to control the angle that the iPad sits, but it's okay as long as you put the iPad on a desk and sit normally in front of it. The angle is awkward if you put the iPad on your lap and look down on it.
Using the keyboard is a lot faster and easier than the on-screen keyboard. It's still not as nice as a real laptop, but it's a vast improvement. The most disappointing thing is that some apps don't let you navigate their interface with the arrow keys or tabs, so you're forced to use the touch interface unintuitively.
