5love it, near perfect companion to the already perfect iPad Mini
By Tracey Jaquith
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R358PIHZ6RD2QW OK, so the back is plastic, but it all looks nice/consistent, compared to the keys and top. So it works.

The keys are responsive, just the right amount of spring-yness to them, and the "island style" keys make the smaller keyboard overall area much easier to find the keys.

The function top-row alt keys (things like pause/next/prev/play vol up/down/mute, lock, brightness up/down, etc.) all work nicely. Compared to my iPad2 and ZAGG tray keyboard -- the "lock" button doesn't get past the "swipe to unlock" screen like the Zagg does, but it at least toggles showing/hiding that screen. (Update: actually, just don't use the lock special function key button -- just open/close it when in "hinged" mode and that wakes/sleeps the iPad automatically *and* locks/unlocks it, too! (You need to, similar to the Apple smart cover option, make sure you have the setting for "iPad Cover Lock/Unlock" set to ON if you want that excellent feature. 8-)

The back rail has a clever magnetic moving piece that attaches to the iPad -- you simply move the iPad from the "for typing" slot to the back and the magnet auto-sticks. You then fold the iPad down to the keyboard and additional magnets nicely turn off/lock the iPad. Easy Peasy!

I'm a geek, so I have the $10 iSSH app and ssh-ed in to work to unix terminal and fired up Emacs and tried various CTRL sequences (including some overrides) and most so far seem to be working. And that's actually for whatever reason a bit *better* than the Zagg so far (I sometimes got some bizarre "stuttering" repeat at times, but haven't seen it yet w/ the MOKO).

I trashed an awful alternate iPad mini keyboard in another review -- so the < $30 and free shipping make this keyboard the total slam-dunk.

NOTE: as is the case w/ the smaller form factor, it's a little bit of squishing your fingers and getting used to it. But first time, I was able to type "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" w/o typos, so it's not too bad (and I have huge hands, but slender fingers 8-)

NOTE: also look carefully at the keys -- to deal w/ the compressed space (especially horizontally speaking), some of the keys like braces, quotes, and such are added to other keys which use the "function" key to emit them. I knew this when I ordered it, but make sure you don't overlook that in case certain key movements are going to make you sad.

I can post/add a video review for this later. The boxing shows a keyboard keys backlight (!) but I think that might be for another model in same family. I'll update if mine does that and I figure it out!

Happy to have a "mini mac lite" again!

5What A Great Case
By Dchomiez15
This is a must have wireless keyboard. It has a sleek design. The case has a blended dark blue/black color to the overall case. The keys are very responsive to touch. The setup process takes less than 2 minutes to complete, which is very easy. On the top right hand conner you get a total of 2 buttons that let you connect the keyboard to the iPad Mini. Theres also an on and off switch. There is an additional 4 LED lights for Cap lock,Bluetooth connection, Charge and Power.
Pros: 1: light weight portable.
2 :Matches the color of the Black iPad Mini
3: Multiple functions that control the iPad`s brightness, skipping songs, locking the iPads screen.
4: Doesn't scratch your iPad.
5: Battery life is excellent. Over 100 hours.

Cons: Doesn't protect the back of the iPad mini.

This is an amazing case. I think that the price for this case is worth it because this isn't a cheaply made case. I give it 5 Stars

Here`s a link to my review in case anyone wants to see it in action. [...]

5Great, convenient keyboard
By Tracy Schuster
I love this keyboard! Having moved from an iPad 3 to a mini, I worried that any keyboard I got that was the size of the mini would not be functional for quick, accurate typing. I was so wrong. I had another brand of keyboard that was made for the mini and it was fine, but hitting the arrow keys constantly when trying to hit shift, and wishing there was space between the keys so you didn't constantly hit two at once made it bothersome. That and having to "pull" it off the iPad each time (it was the cover for the iPad, but wanting the fit tight had also made getting it off a pain) had potentially already damaged one screen (it came lose and Apple graciously replaced the iPad). This keyboard has solved those issues and my only trade off is that I have to consciously think when I need quotes or an apostrophe since you have to access them with the Fn key rather than the traditional shift method. I love how compact and light weight it is, how well it holds up the iPad when I put it in the groove for viewing, and how nice it looks with my black mini -- it is the exact coloring as the back panel (that blueish-black color). Overall I spent $24 on the first keyboard and #30 on this one, and I would have gladly paid #54 for this one having now used it for a couple of months. It also has worked flawlessly with all applications where a keyboard is needed, including remoting in to my desktop.

You will not be disappointed with this keyboard! And coming from an EXTREMELY picky person (ask my husband... it generally takes me about 10 cases to finally settle on the right one for each application), I think it says volumes about the unit!
