Perfect iPad 2 Cover

I just received my Cygnett Lavish Earth cover for my iPad 2 today. I was very impressed with the quality of the product. Even though it's not REAL leather, it is very beautiful and the iPad fits perfectly inside with all corners protected. There is easy access to all functions of the iPad and the camera hole lines up very well on the back. I originally bought the Targus Versavu and I promptly returned it to BB because the smell was awful and it didn't hold the iPad securely on the case. So I continued my quest for the perfect case. I read SO many reviews and watched tons of videos in order to make my choice. Once I settled on the Cygnett then I was torn between the patent leather Red or the Deep Purple. I chose the purple and I'm glad I did cause it is very classy looking. This cover seems to work well in the landscape view and the multi view works fine. If you want to use it in portrait mode then you need to make sure you don't just flip it open and fold it around cause it WILL go into sleep mode. The sleep mode magnets work VERY well. With a little practice you will figure it out how to flip and fold it and it won't be an issue like another reviewer complained. This case is a soft deep purple color that will protect your iPad 2 while looking sharp and you will not be disappointed if you choose to buy it.

Thank goodness - a WONDERFUL case/cover!

After spending endless hours reading endless reviews on iPad 2 cases - most of them conflicting, confusing and diametrically opposite, I decided to simply go for it and purchase 5 iPad cover/cases ranging in price from $25 to nearly $55. After evaluating all 5 cases, I happily settled on this Cygnett case. It's absolutely wonderful! No problems with smells, no problems with closure, no problems with operation and the magnetic clasp operates the iPad's sleep on/off feature. No problems at all!
This case/cover is lovely, elegant and the amethyst color makes it stand out in the over-crowded field of black and brown cases. While this case is not leather, it certainly LOOKS and FEELS like leather. If you must have a leather case, Cygnett makes an identical case in saddle brown - which I also purchased.
I couldn't be happier with this Amazon purchase. BUY THIS CASE!

versatile

Really happy with the looks and the multiview angles of this product make it great for desk or lap use and reading in bed. It is a deep plum color, looks professional, much better than the tire tread look I was supplied with by employer. Only drw back is it is a little difficult to get the charger plugged in.
