By RickG
This folio is extremely 'user friendly'. Bluetooth keyboard has functioned very well. Occasionally when typing, it will pop up thinking I wanted one of the 'symbols' associated with the key, but aside from that, it works well. It did not come with a stylus even though it has a sleeve for one on the front.
Pros: Easy to use with or without keyboard (flips nicely to use just the tablet), It has a little weight, but not too bad. Nice feature- wakes and puts to sleep when opened and closed.
Cons: A bit pricey, but other models I looked at were loose, or did not feel sturdy. This is made for the Tab 3, and fits, so as of now I feel the price was worth it. The cover does get a bit in the way of the infrared 'blaster', so if you plan on using it for your home theater remote, it will take some effort to get it pointed correctly.

By Sonja
So I don't have a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I have a Galaxy Note (10.1, 2014 edition). I also have a thing for Logitech keyboards for tablets. Logitech seems to be the only company that values the right "shift" key as much as I do. I have a Logitech (formerly zaggmate) keyboard for my iPad, and after checking out the keyboards made for the Galaxy Note (which Logitech has not made, what's up with that?) and their tiny ridiculous right shift keys, I decided to see if this keyboard would work with the Galaxy Note even though it is made for the Galaxy Tab.
The answer is yes and no. Does the Note fit into the slots as-is? No, it doesn't. The short sides of the Tab are, apparently, a couple of millimeters wider than the Note. And the long sides of the Tab are, apparently, a couple of millimeters shorter than the Note. (Hey, Samsung, why? I mean, really, why?) But where there's a will, there's a way. If you're looking at the folio set up with the tablet in it for typing ala a laptop, the upper right corner holder was my victim. I cut off the part of it that is vertical (going towards the ground) and left the horizontal part, which has the magnet and keeps the case closed (I posted pictures of this modification in Product Images from Customers). And then, voila, the Note "fit." Obviously not perfectly. It's not snug. But it's not far off. You just have to remember always to point the other (left) side down when putting it in your bag vertically.
So I did this for a few days, and it was fine, just be aware. But ultimately, I decided that I didn't like this keyboard for traveling because the exterior of the case is kind of... sticky. I have a bag that has a tablet slot in it, and the case clung to it like velcro or tape going in and out. It was really annoying. I also have the Logitech keyboard case (again for Tab) that has a metal exterior, and it slides in and out no problem (and no, the Note doesn't fit in it perfectly either).
So I'm using this keyboard in my office. I plop my Note in it whenever I want to type, and it doesn't get carried around. And I like it fine.

By P. Breakfield IV
Due to the circumstances in which I was ordering, I was forced to choose quickly and was not able to take the time to read the details. I have a Note 10.1 and hoped that this case would accomodate the Note 10.1 since it is the same size as the 10.1 Tab 3 and made by Samsung also.
That is NOT Logitech's fault. I DO think it would be helpful to them, and to customers to make that easy to tell from the product page. Offer us a link to the Note 10.1 page and let us know this is not compatible.
For those who may think that I am an idiot for thinking that it might work, congrats - you are correct. :-)
So, while I couldn't physically put the Note 10.1 in this case, I was able to inspect the quality of the case, and I was also able to test the blue tooth keyboard. Here is what I found...
Build quality is exceptional. I have been a fan of logitech since all they did was computer mice. They make quality stuff and this is no exception. The magnet that snaps the Galaxy Tab into place is strong and firm. It looks like it is made well and elegant. Honestly, it feels a lot like an Apple product.
Bluetooth requires a logitech app... I downloaded it and aside from a few minor irritations it installed well (for instance, it said to pair with the Logitech Keyboard but instead I got a mac address and when I chose it, then it said Folio keyboard.
I have not experimented in depth with the app. I will try to come back and do more with it later. Right now I have my Note 10.1 sitting up in a very cheap chinese case and paired to the folio keyboard.
The first thing that I am noticing is that the bluetooth is LIGHTYEARS better than another product I have on my ipad Air right now. I'm not going to name that brand until I am able to test and see if it is the product, or the Apple iPad.
I am finding a button on the lower right of the space bar, next to ALT to be annoying. It seems to show the desktop or open the flipboard app. Bad placement. Maybe I can remap it?
Also, I get a black box that pops up randomly that says English as if it is repairing or something. Still, bluetooth connection is truly excellent, with no missed keystrokes that I can see so far. It is exceptionally good.
As for the feel of the keyboard, I would call it a little above average. In this price range, I think some feedback would be nice, backlighting would be nice as well.
The autowake/sleep is a great feature, I'm horrible at remembering to turn off a keyboard. Logitech says that is reasonable to expect three months on a charge. That is awesome.
I just wish they made it for the Note 10.1 and with backlighting and perhaps tactile feedback on the keys.
