3Awesome craftsmanship, one major flaw
By Ted Holt
I have used a Booqpad for the past year. (http://www.amazon.com/Booq-Booqpad-iPad-Green-BPD3-GRG/dp/B007XXM1FE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374382886&sr=8-1&keywords=booq+ipad). I really liked how well it integrated my business cards, a notepad, and my iPad. On July 4th, while running out the door to see fireworks, I dropped it at just the right angle and spider-cracked the screen. One AppleCare return later, I decided to find a folio that could offer a little more protection.

After much research, I found this leather portfolio that fit all my needs. It carries documents, cards, pens, a notepad and iPad all in one zippered package. I was very excited to receive it. The leather was beautiful; stitching and craftsmanship were top notch. The exterior pocket was especially nice to hold my charger and headphones.

However, there is one flaw: the straps used to hold the iPad are poorly designed. There are 2 leather straps on the left side of the case and two elastic straps on the right. One of the leather straps blocks access to my power, mute, and volume buttons. One of the elastic straps makes it difficult to plug in headphones. Not too big a deal, I was willing to work around it as the rest of the portfolio was perfect...

That was until my iPad started falling out. During my first week of use, the elastic straps came undone 3 times, and I found my iPad free to fall out when unzipped. Luckily it only came onto my lap each time, but it kind of defeated my purpose. I could only see this problem getting worse as the elastics wear in. Sadly, I chose to return the case and reembark on my quest for the perfect Padfolio.

4Nice portfolio
By whatuphomefry
This is almost the ideal portfolio for my needs. The leather is very nice and it looks and feels very well made. The fact that it has a writing tablet is the primary reason I purchased it. Pluses, plenty of storage space for pens and credit cards. Big outer storage pocket that holds my ipad charger, glasses and phone. Minuses, ipad buttons are hard to get at to adjust volume or turn off.

Is exactly what I wanted. Good document storage and secure iPad compartment. Quality leather. Standard notepad fits into the portfolio for optimal versatility
