WOW! This is almost perfect!
By Setesh
I have owned the following Ipad 2 cases: Incase Book Jacket, Griffin Survivor, Targus 360, Smart Cover, and of course, this case. This case is definitely the best. My second favorite would have to be the Book Jacket because of how easy it is to use, but it doesn't protect very well (the corners are completely open). This case protects extremely well and is very light for the level of protection. It is also very attractive, I really like the look of this case a lot, it's just very 'techy' looking. Seidio did a very, very good job on this case. I really only have one gripe and that is that the silicone sleeve is a bit loose at the bottom and top. This is annoying when holding the Ipad 2 in landscape mode because these 'flaps' come up so easily as they lack any support from the plastic shell. If they would have made the shell attach in 8 points instead of 6 it would have solved this problem I think.
Pros:
Excellent protection
Fairly light weight
Very good looking
Cover is not obtrusive when attached to back of Ipad 2
Cover offers excellent protection for screen when attached to front of Ipad 2
Cover doubles as a stand
The stand is just perfect. 15 positions, covered in felt to protect the screen, held pretty good distance away from screen, just brilliant
All ports are accessible, even for non apple charge/sync cables, when cover is in either position
Clear window protects the apple logo on the back
Rubberized texture of plastic components is great
Fairly tight fit on silicone component
Cons:
Looseness of silicone on top and bottom edges only
No screen film included
**See EDIT** Have to use quite a bit of force to both un-clip and clip the stand into place. But this will probably lessen over time and isn't a big deal
The rubberized coating will wear out and start peeling if this case is anything like the 2 Active X cases I've had for my Iphones. They did put rubber strips on the hard shell cover though so this should help a lot.
Overall I am extremely happy with this case. I am confident it will protect my Ipad 2 well in transit, and even in the case of a fall. Seidio should be very proud of this case! If they can solve the loose silicone at the top and bottom this would be perfect!
****EDIT****
It's been a week and the stand is no longer difficult to unsnap, it just took a little while to wear in.
****EDIT #2***
It is now 3/3/2012 and this case is still going strong. Last week this case paid for itself many times over. I was heading to the hardware store with some parts and plans (plan was stored in dropbox on Ipad2) and I put my Ipad2 on the bed cover of my truck to unlock the door. I then remembered I forgot the parts. I went back in the house and got the parts, got in my truck and drove off. The hardware store is about 7 miles away. I got there and got out of the truck only to see my Ipad2 sitting on my bed cover, exactly where I had left it! The sticky rubber pads on the bottom of the case were enough to keep it from sliding off during any of the 7 turns I had to make to get out of my neighborhood and to the store. That is the story of how this case saved me from my own stupidity and a very painful lesson!

Wanted to love it
By Nay Naing
I'd like to first state the fact that I really wanted to love this case. It's great looking, seems to have awesome features and light in weight. The case also has solid 5 star reviews so I figured I couldn't go wrong.
I got the case yesterday and could not bring myself into liking it for several reasons:
-The top and bottom parts of the silicone are very loose and stretch easily. It doesn't sound like a big problem but when you tend to surf web in landscape mode, they stretch where you hold and tends to fold into back of the iPad. Rest of the silicone seems to be fine because of the exoskeleton frame.
-The stand is just not very convenient. It's part of the screen cover which is ridiculously hard to remove. Also, once you have it set up, it's not very stable at the highest angles.
-Since the screen cover is hard to remove, you tend to just not want to use it. I'm sure it'll protect the iPad great when it's on. However, since you'll cover the screen less often than you'd with a folio style case, you are more likely to damage the screen.
-The back of the case also feels really smooth. First you kind of like the way it feels. Then you start to use the iPad and realize how much it feels like it's slipping away from your hands. It's really hard to get a good grip with this case (without the cover) on. Installing the cover on the back helps with the grip but you also triple the size of the device.
-The silicone looks great until you look near the edges. It's just not perfectly cut. I guess I'm just being picky and it's probably not possible to cut and retain perfect shape with such stretchy material. If this was the only flaw I could've lived with this case.
I normally don't do reviews on a lot of things. I however do them when I feel the average star ratings are not accurate. This case should be 3-4 stars at best. For me, I simply cannot give it more than 2 stars.

Just about perfect for me
By Mindy N.
I looked a long time for a rugged iPad 2 case, and finally decided to try this one. This has worked out great for me. It's comfortable to hold, provides good protection, looks good, and comes with a great stand feature. I use my iPad at work with special education students, so the stand has been a huge bonus..it's nice and sturdy. I definitely prefer it to the first case I bought (Hard Candy Street Skin). I have a screen protector and I wipe the whole thing down with alcohol after each kid...I'm sure the manufacturer would say not to do it, but it hasn't damaged it so far (and I have to get all of the goobers off, so I really have no choice!) There are some really good reviews on youtube; they show all of the features in good detail and were helpful in making my decision to buy this case.
