Best case I've owned in 2 years of iPad use
By Taylor Ratliff
This case is fantastic! It protects my new iPad (3rd gen) very well, the hand-strap feels very secure, and the kickstand is solid and can be used in all 4 orientations. The soft liner is a nice touch too, and should keep my iPad from getting scratched by debris trapped in the case and adds extra cushion in case it gets dropped.
I was initially hesitant to buy this case because of the way the iPad is inserted through the top and held with a velcro strap, but after using the case for a few days I'm very satisfied. The hard plastic shell and velvety liner hold the iPad securely in place, and the velcro is a very high quality and isn't itchy. The camera hole aligns perfectly, and the matte-black plastic won't glare into the camera like some cases.
The kickstand is a very innovative design, it slides out of the pivot and then locks into place. The locking mechanism is metal, which gives me confidence it won't break. Because the kickstand pivots you can stand the iPad upright or at a slight tilt, in landscape or portrait mode (all 4 orientations).
Best of all is the hand strap. The elastic keeps the strap flat against the case when not in use, and keeps the iPad securely in your hand when in use. It has an adjustable tensioner (velcro again) to accommodate different hand sizes. The hand strap is what has really changed the way I use my iPad. Before I wasn't comfortable using it while standing or walking because of the fear of dropping it. I broke a previous iPad this way even though it was in a well-reviewed case. The hand strap lets me pace back in forth while I read, which helps me think, and I can now comfortably use my iPad while standing at a whiteboard/chalkboard, which is exactly why I bought it.
The only downside is that the iPad no longer lays flat on a surface. When I got on the treadmill yesterday it wouldn't stay on the small ledge and I had to remove the case. The case is snug, but this is easily done by pressing the iPad at the dock connector or speaker.

Just what I needed
By Khanweezy
After getting my 3rd gen iPad, I felt the need to get a case. But I wanted the case to solve a few issues I had with caseless iPad use and add a few desirable features.
1. Issues with caseless use:
Sharp edges of the iPad digging in to my hands
Inability to use the iPad with only one hand
2. Desirable features:
A stand
Added protection
This case fulfilled all of the above concerns for me completely. As an added bonus, as another reviewer has pointed out, the stand works in all 4 orientations thanks to the 360 swivel action. This also allows you to hold the ipad in any orientation with one hand, so it's easy to find a comfortable position. I will admit that the iPad still feels a bit heavy when using one hand for long periods of time and puts some strain on my wrist when I do so. However, this is the not the fault of this case.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with this case and recommend it to any iPad 2/3/4 user who has similar concerns/issues to what I mentioned above
