4Shows dust and dirt both inside and out
By P. Jones
As a case it is great. The Y configuration could not be better. I hate that it never looks clean, from the moment I started using it the outside cover shows dust and the inside suedish is also bright black and shows everything. Great case but lack of thought in the materials used.

5Best case I've found for the iPad 3rd Gen
By dieburnbot
I ordered this case from iGearGuys on April 22nd and it was finally delivered today! So, I am here to share my views.

I'm not going to get into all of the details of this case, as the manufacturer has done a good job describing those so you can just check out their website at [...] and watch their video [...]

Basically this is an origami style folding case. I've noticed these types of cases provide the most stability in stand mode and also allow for a portrait mode stand.

I have used the Ozaki Slim-Y and now this Slim-Y++ and I have to say I really like the upgrades in the Slim-Y++. The cover is a lot thicker as it is made out of PU leather; it feels more solid and less floppy than the other versions. The included stylus is very nice and the case has a nice rubbery feel to it which gives it excellent grip. The iPad fits in tightly and I don't see it falling out or anything. I haven't tested it, but I would feel safe dropping the iPad from a small height in this case. Coverage of the iPad is excellent, however I wish it had some sort of grill over the speaker, but it isn't a huge issue.

The stand options work like they should, but I noticed since the cover on the Y++ is thicker and stiffer, the magnets that hold the folded position together tend to pop open if you move it around to much. I'm 99% sure this is due to it being brand new, and once it gets broken in it should fold better.

This biggest complaint with these series of cases were the weak magnets on the front cover that kept triggering the auto wake on/off feature. The problem still exists in this case, but they have fixed it with the built in strap on the back.

You just pull it over and it holds very tightly. I am kind of worried from repeated usage the strap may end up becoming loose, but part of me thinks it won't be a problem as it is really tight. I only plan on using it when I'm going to throw it in a bag or something to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the strap just in case.

Overall I highly recommend this case over the Y and Y+, it feels more solid and better built and the included strap solves the auto wake on and off problem that the other models have. I think I have found the case I am finally going to keep.

----UPDATE (7/2/2012)----

I have now been using this case for a few days and noticed that the case is now easier to fold and it holds together a lot better in the folded positions. I've also noticed that the magnet problem isn't as bad as it is in the y and y+ it actually sticks for the most part and you really have to shake it to get it to come off. They may have put in stronger magnets because of the thicker material.

Awesome, perfect for protection. The multiple ways to configure the stand is great as well. This is definitely worth the money and the best cover I've seen on the market.
